The Duke is our single pleat model. It is a good option for more conservative settings, or for those new to pleated trousers. The pleat is outward facing, and the fit sits between the Aleks and the Grant, with slightly less volume through the front. Like all Kit Blake trousers, it is designed to be worn without a belt, with side adjusters for comfort. We recommend wearing it with a two inch turn up, though this is down to preference. All trousers are delivered unfinished, to be altered to your desired length. If you are in-between sizes, we suggest taking the larger size and using the side-adjusters as needed.
Please contact us at enquiries@kitblake.com if you have any questions.
These Duke Navy Fresco Wool Trousers are made from medium-weight wool cloth woven in England by Hardy Minnis, perfect for spring and summer. Fresco fabric is highly breathable, crease-resistant, and has a subtle texture that keeps them from looking like suit trousers. The open weave enhances airflow, making them ideal for warmer weather.
These come in our Duke fit, a single-pleat style with a fuller cut. Like all Kit Blake trousers, they're made in Italy, and arrive unfinished, to be hemmed at the ideal length for you.
The model in the video is 186CM / 6' 1", and he wears a size 32 in all Kit Blake trousers, finished with a 32' inseam.
About the Duke style
The Duke is our single-pleated model that was introduced due to customer demand. This model is ideal for conservative business environments or nervous / first-time pleat wearers. The single pleat is a outward-facing pleat and the fit is similar to our Grant style, although the single pleat means there is slightly less volume in the front of the trouser. Like all Kit Blake trousers, the trousers do not require a belt due to having side-adjusters. We recommend that these trousers are worn with a turn-up cuff, but it is up to the client’s preference. Note all of the trousers come unfinished to have them altered to your desired length.
If you are in-between sizes, we would recommend going up a size and pulling the adjusters in a little closer as needed.

Square Mile"A good pair of weighty flannel trousers are an essential for the AW season. They are versatile enough to take you to the office or around the park, depending on how you style them, and cosy enough to withstand the bitter winter wind. "
