The Grant (formerly Slim Aleks) is based on the Aleks and has the same rise (how high the trouser sits on the waist) and deep pleats but a more pronounced taper to a narrower hem. Unless you have very athletic thighs and calves, you will wear the same size as the Aleks.

 

Our Grant Dark Brown Cotton Moleskin Trousers are made from a heavyweight cotton cloth by Brisbane Moss. Moleskin has a soft, lightly brushed surface and a substantial feel, while also being durable and hard-wearing. The dark brown shade makes these an easy alternative to traditional wool trousers during the cooler months.

Wear them with a cream jumper and suede boots for a relaxed outfit, or with a pale blue shirt and navy blazer for a smarter option.

These trousers come in our Grant fit, which has a high rise and double pleats, with a more pronounced taper from the knee down than the Aleks. This version features belt loops rather than side-adjusters. Made in Italy, they arrive unfinished, ready to be hemmed to your preferred length.

The model in the video is 186CM / 6' 1", and he wears a size 32 in all Kit Blake trousers, finished with a 32' inseam.

About the Grant style:

The Grant is based on our Aleks style and is our best-selling fit. It has the same high rise and two deep, inward-facing pleats, with a similarly generous full cut and a slight taper from the knee down. Most customers take the same size in the Grant as in the Aleks.

We recommend wearing the trousers with a two-inch turn-up, although this is a matter of personal preference. All trousers are delivered unfinished, ready to be altered to your desired length. If you are between sizes, we suggest taking the larger size.
