These Grant Charcoal Wool Flannel Trousers are made from a heavyweight 400 g cloth woven in small quantities in the UK by Fox Brothers. Heavier than our standard flannels, the cloth has a substantial handle and excellent drape, allowing the trousers to hang cleanly through the full-cut leg. Its soft, lightly brushed surface provides warmth and comfort, making it particularly well suited to colder autumn and winter days.
Fox Brothers, the historic English woollen mill established in Somerset in 1772, is credited with originating fine woollen and worsted flannels and remains one of the world’s leading flannel mills. Its cloths are prized for their character, durability and the way they improve with wear.
Charcoal flannel is one of the most versatile cloths in a winter wardrobe. Wear these trousers with a navy blazer and pale blue shirt for smarter occasions, or with a cream jumper and dark brown boots for a more relaxed outfit.
These trousers come in our Grant fit, which has a high rise, double pleats and a full cut, with a slight taper from the knee down. They feature side-adjusters and are made in Italy. They arrive unfinished at approximately 96 cm in length, ready to be hemmed to your ideal length by your local tailor.
The model in the video is 186CM / 6' 1", and he wears a size 32 in all Kit Blake trousers, finished with a 32' inseam.

About the Grant style:
The Grant is based on our Aleks style. Our best-selling style, it keeps the same high rise and two inward facing deep pleats, with a similarly generous fit, but with a more pronounced taper from the knee down. Most customers will take the same size as in the Aleks. Like all Kit Blake trousers, it is designed to be worn without a belt, with side adjusters for comfort. We recommend wearing it with a two inch turn up, though this is down to preference. All trousers are delivered unfinished, to be altered to your desired length. If you are in-between sizes, we suggest taking the larger size and using the side-adjusters as needed.
