The Aleks is the original Kit Blake style. It features two inward-facing deep pleats and is cut to sit higher on the waist. The leg is generous, with a classic, fuller fit. This is the style for those looking for something traditional and well proportioned. Like all Kit Blake trousers, it is designed to be worn without a belt, with side-adjusters for comfort. We recommend wearing it with a two-inch turn-up, though this is down to preference. All trousers are delivered unfinished, to be altered to your desired length. If you are in between sizes, we suggest taking the larger size and using the side-adjusters as needed.

Our Aleks Olive Fox Brothers & Permanent Style Wool Flannel Trousers are made from a cloth developed by Fox Brothers with Simon Crompton of Permanent Style, one of the world’s leading destinations for classic menswear. Woven in small quantities in the UK from 100% wool, the plain olive flannel weighs approximately 400 g. It is slightly heavier than standard flannels, giving it a substantial feel and making it particularly well suited to colder weather.
The olive shade is distinctive but easy to wear, working particularly well with navy, rust and brown. Pair the trousers with a rust-coloured jumper and chestnut boots for a relaxed outfit, or with a navy jacket and blue striped shirt for smarter occasions.
Fox Brothers, the historic English mill established in Somerset in 1772, is credited with inventing fine woollen and worsted flannels and remains one of the world’s leading flannel mills.
These trousers come in our Aleks style, which has a high rise, double pleats and a full cut. They feature side-adjusters and are made in Italy. They arrive unfinished at approximately 96 cm in length, ready to be hemmed to your ideal length by your local tailor.
About the Aleks style:
The Aleks is the original Kit Blake style and remains our fullest cut. It features a high rise, two deep inward-facing pleats on each side, and a generous leg for a timeless, classic silhouette. Like all Kit Blake trousers, the Aleks is made in Italy and features side-adjusters instead of belt loops for a clean waistband. We recommend wearing the Aleks with a turn-up, although this is entirely down to personal preference. All trousers are delivered unfinished, allowing them to be hemmed to your preferred length. If you are between sizes, we recommend taking the larger size and using the side-adjusters as needed.
